I came to 5Rock Ranch with my three children, age 15, 13 and 9.

As a divorced homeschool mom my days were busy with schooling, household chores and coop classes besides sports and outings. I also had to find countless ways to stretch the dollar.

I went to church regularly and read my Bible but didn't have the time to dive deeper and be captured by God's Father heart. Then my spousal support ended and I felt new things were coming. I looked for work, but the Lord said no to my possibilities and directed me to 5 Rock Ranch.

At the ranch the kids started going to school and I had more time for Biblestudy and sharing with other moms. I remember a difficult time being mad at God and disappointed that my marriage didn't work out. I stomped off into the hills for a long hike. Up there I found a pile of rocks I angrily threw into the bushes, crying and screaming. I felt that the Lord understood my feelings.

One night I had an interesting dream. The topic: A Jewish wedding. When I shared in the morning, Scott mentioned a Biblestudy to listen to about this exact topic and also Revelation 19, the marriage of the lamb. I felt in a new way what it means to be the bride of Christ and how much He loves me. Around Easter I was rebaptized in the creek by the ranchhouse. My youngest spontaneously wanted to be baptized too. It was a precious moment.
